Eurofreight Logistics Ltd takes us back...back in 1999…

Timeline of Major Events:

Two small but powerful companies take their first steps in the Clearing & Forwarding Community.

1990 - G & L Forwarding is established by Leonidas Leonidou and George Papachristodoulou

1992 - CPA UCS Clearing & Forwarding is established by Christodoulos Partou and  George Adamou

With Directors who had a wide background in the know-how of the freight forwarding and clearing business, these two identified synergies and decided to merge in order to strengthen their presence in the Cyprus market.

The Result...

1999 -Eurofreight Logistics Ltd makes a grand entrance into the Forwarding Industry of Cyprus with Head Offices in Larnaca and branches in Nicosia and Limassol. This merger marks the establishment of a new company with a clear mission: to offer its customers an “one stop shop” with all the necessary solutions for their freight and warehousing needs.

2005 - New Head Offices and Multi-Purpose Logistics Center of Eurofreight Logistics in Aradippou (Larnaka). This is the beginning of a new era with newly built state of the art facilities equipped with all the necessary technology and machinery as well as staff to fulfill its customers’ needs.

2007 - Eurofreight Logistics receives the Innovation Award from Ministry of Commerce Industry &Tourism and the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation. The Innovation Award was presented to Eurofreight for introducing the first 3rd Party Logistics Project with Intervet, a subsidiary of Merck Animal Health (former AkzoNobel). Given the European Union policies and efforts on the promotion of innovation as well as the known need for continuous improvement of competitiveness of the Cyprus companies, the Award is presented to private or public sector companies and organizations which prove to be successful in the implementation of innovative ideas and practices. 2010 - Eurofreight Logistics establishes in Greece its wholly-owned subsidiary Eurofreight Hellas. Eurofreight Hellas is an IATA Accredited Agent, is ISO 9001 certified and maintains a staff of 13 and offices and warehouses in Athens and Thessaloniki. In addition, Eurofreight Hellas is the only Freight Forwarding company in Greece that has the license to handle and transport radioactive materials(
